FOSTERING & ADOPTION
Arlene's family began fostering children when she was 9 years old. Here she tell us what it was like growing up and sharing her home and parents with a range of foster children. She talks about reunions and how the experience has influenced her own plans for the future.
Wilma and Steven adopted 2 girls a number of years ago. Here they tell us what led them to consider adoption, what the process was like and how it felt to meet their daughters for the first time. They also talk about their decision to adopt both girls rather than a single child.
Rachel went into care when she was 5 years old. Here she tells us what she remembers about the experience. She tells us all about meeting her permanent foster carers and how she felt on learning that they would provide her and her sister with a 'forever home'.
